Finally, the first ruling against those accused of spying for the Israeli enemy was issued! Indeed, Lebanon's military examining magistrate Judge Rashid Mizher ordered on Wednesday the death sentence for Marwan Kamel al-Faqih, the spy and the son of the spy. According to the National News Agency, Judge Mizher issued an arrest warrant against Faqih for spying for the Zionist entity and supplying it with confidential information on Hezbollah officials, the Lebanese Armed Forces and the Internal Security Forces. Faqih is also accused of visiting the Palestinian occupied territories, meeting with Mossad officials and training to use advanced communication devices to contact Tel Aviv. The whole story started in 2005 when Faqih entered the Palestinian occupied territories for the first time through Belgium to finalize the heritage of his father's "business" within the Israeli Mossad. He met with Israeli officers who praised his father's "path" and "history" in spying against what they called the "terrorist" Hezbollah. He then pledged to continue the path after the Israelis specified the nature of his mission and trained him to accomplish it. The mentioned spy supplied the Israeli enemy with confidential information on the Resistance personalities and officials, even those who were from his family. He also identified specific targets for the Israeli enemy and caused their shelling, given that the mentioned targets included schools, institutions, gas stations, mosques, cafes, hospitals, playfields in many southern towns including Nabatieh, Harouf, Shoukin, Kfar Jawz, Kfar Remman. With his practices, spy Faqih was able to gain the confidence of the Israeli enemy, a confidence that pushed the Israeli officer "Ayoub" to call him during the July war and ask him to leave his house because they were going to bombard a building for the Saad family that was close to his house. Following the war, he was given a monetary gift as a compensation for the damages in his house caused by the shelling of his neighbor's home. Yet, the spy's "achievements" didn't end here… In September 2007, Faqih entered again the Palestinian occupied territories where he was transferred by the officers Shawqi and Ayoub to Kiryat Shmona settlement. There, Israeli officers called upon him to plant small cameras in the gas station he administers in the South (between Zebdine and Nabatieh) to record pictures for the cars of the Resistance's members. Faqih agreed. The last visit he made to the occupied territories was on September 2008 when the Israelis asked him about the mechanism of selling cars in Lebanon and how to enter them into the country. Until he was detained on January 5, Faqih was still dealing with the Zionist enemy..
